Consultation for Licensed Therapists
Private Practice & Regulation-Focused Clinical Consultation
I offer consultation for independently licensed therapists in Wyoming who are transitioning into private practice or working to build a more sustainable and clearly structured one.
Graduate programs prepare clinicians for clinical work, but often provide limited guidance on how to design, structure, and sustain a viable private practice. Consultation focuses on bridging that gap — supporting thoughtful decision-making around caseload design, service offerings, fee structures, boundaries, and scope of practice.
Consultation is educational and consultative in nature. It is not supervision, therapy, marketing coaching, or business scaling strategy.
Areas of Consultation
Transitioning into private practice with clear structure and defined service offerings
Designing a sustainable caseload aligned with your scope and capacity
Establishing fee structures and policies that support ethical care
Clarifying professional boundaries to reduce overextension and role confusion
Strengthening decision-making frameworks within independent practice
Aligning clinical philosophy with practical business structure
Who This Is For
Consultation may be a good fit for independently licensed clinicians in Wyoming who:
Are building or refining a private practice
Want greater clarity in service structure, caseload design, and policies
Are working to establish sustainable professional boundaries that support ethical care
Feel overextended or uncertain about scope and want clearer decision-making frameworks
Value long-term sustainability over rapid growth
Who This Is Not For
Consultation is not appropriate for clinicians seeking:
Marketing strategy, branding, or social media growth coaching
Supervision for licensure hours or formal clinical oversight
Crisis consultation or urgent clinical decision-making
High-volume growth strategies or scaling models
Legal, financial, or investment advisement
Consultation Approach
Consultation is structured, collaborative, and grounded in practical application. Sessions focus on clarifying priorities, strengthening practice design, and identifying sustainable next steps within your current scope and stage of development.
Rather than offering prescriptive formulas, consultation emphasizes steady, values-aligned practice development. The goal is not expansion for its own sake, but clarity — building a private practice that is well-defined, manageable, and aligned with your clinical philosophy.
The Process
-
Step 1 — Fit & Focus Conversation
We begin with a brief call to determine appropriateness and clarify your goals.
-
Step 2 — Preparation & Context
Prior to our first full session, you complete a brief information form outlining your practice setting, service structure, and primary questions or challenges. This ensures our work is focused, efficient, and aligned with your goals from the outset.
-
Step 3 — Applied Consultation Sessions
We examine practice design, service structure, fee policies, and sustainability — translating discussion into concrete next steps.
-
Step 4 — Integration & Next Steps
You leave each session with clarified direction and defined action steps. Follow-up sessions may be scheduled as needed to refine systems, address evolving questions, or support continued development.
Consultation Fees
Clinical and private practice consultation for licensed therapists is $200 per 50 minute session.
Consultation services are private-pay and are not supervision or therapy services.
Consultation is provided to independently licensed clinicians and is consultative and educational in nature. It does not constitute clinical supervision, licensure supervision, or oversight of clinical services. Consultees retain full responsibility for their clinical and business decisions and client care.
